This piece was written in mind to be the opener to my senior recital. The piece opens with a flowing section that sets the mood of the piece. This then jumps into a more frantic and fragmented fugue, which in turn breaks into a more melancholy floating section where the trombone takes the lead. The piece then closes in a grand fashion with a large and expansive section that aims to engulf the listener in a powerful and intense wall of sound.
